Final gaa we decided to take what Wayne is giving. Yesterday was final date for making decision and My son accepted the wayne state offer and decided to stay local, use the money for his grad.. WSU gave all they were offering on paper and with private scholarships he got and the scholarship he got from my company, The money he earned working in Kumon, his college now is free of cost.. The money we saved for his college will be in his hand after he completes Bachelors. two things that changed his decision going to purdue is all his friends who were initially planning to go to Purdue or any out-state, dropped and joined in-state colleges in Michigan, ( except for IVY league ) No one got this kind of scholarships from any school, so he felt he need to take it. Many of my friends kids who were going to Wayne state gave a good feedback to him. His strong decision of not having loan has become another factor. At-least for now he is happy with his decision.
