Forgot to mention this most of the big companies visit top engineering schools for hiring I have seen Univ of Waterloo kids doing internships from their 2nd year, they usually make 6k-8k per month including housing during their internships and if they perform well they get full time offers (I am sure you know this) you are not looking at the true cost of the program, internships tho your kid can reduce the college costs by at least 50% my daughter's day care lady's son he is doing 3rd year at UC Berkeley - no scholarships, they are spending $50k per year on his education but he has done 3 internships so far and now for his final internship he got offers from Google, Salesforce and Facebook She told me that kid paid most of the fees |
