Hello Sir, I don’t know who you are, other than knowing you through this virtual world and reading your posts in ROM . I am a regular ROM person to this DB and finally decided to register and post my thank note to you and here is why I am from gudivada and came to US to do my masters. And then started working in IT for the past 14 years and life was happy with writing code and developing apps. I am not sure exactly when, but I think It was around 2009 or 2010 I saw one of your posts in this DB that you shared your good news of becoming a director or executive level person and you started talking about how challenging it was to get into executive roles navigating through corporate politics e.t.c and you also said " next generation money kosam choosukonavasaram ledu once you are in those roles or something similar to that". Some how the challenging and money aspect of executive roles stuck to my mind and I started thinking arrey manam endhuduku kakoodadu. Then slowly started thinking how do I become a lead, in 2 years the opportunity came and was promoted to lead, then how do I become manager, then came manager opportunity and Sr Manager role and then finally the Director promotion announcement came in almost a year back. I was hoping to post this for the past 1 year and finally had an opportunity to post this now. If it wasn’t your experience that you shared in this DB and me reading that post, I never had it in my mind that I would be a leader and capable of leading people. Truly you were my inspiration to chase that dream of getting into an executive role . I owe you a thank note and here its is "THANK YOU". I am sure there are others who get inspired from you. |
