I watched the premier show of NTR Mahanayakudu yesterday. This movie focused on NTR’s political journey and showed the great bonding that he had with his wife Basava Tarakam garu in parallel. This movie is also presented from Basavatharakam garu’s point of view, and hence the story starts with her and ends after her demise.

The screenplay is very racy. Balayya gave his career best performance. The hospital scene where he talks to the doctor requesting to save his wife’s life is top notch. Vidya Balan’s performance is excellent. It may be understatement to say that she recreated basavatharakam garu on screen. All the scenes between her and Balayya touches your heart.

Rana as CBN, Bharat Reddy as Daggubati, Supeiya Vinod as Indira Gandhii, Sachin Khedekar as Narendra and Vennela Kishore did full justice to their characters.

Krish should be appreciated for best presentation and screen play. Music by Keeravani is extremely good and very elevating. Overall, I strongly feel that it is the best and honest effort by Balayya and Krish. Both should be appreciated 👏🙏

Due to political references (that are naturally bonded to the story), we need to wait and see how this movie will be received at box office.
