In 2014 , The election was clean with minimum EC violations . High turn out contests. 94 seats had a voting share of more than 80% . TDP & BJP won 61 seats in these high turnout contests . Of these only 13 were close wins with a majority less than 5k votes . YCP won 32 seats in these high turnout seats .Of these 15 seats were very close with margins of less than 5K . That is around 45% seats more would have gone to TDP if they had contested without BJP . There is a danger for YCP of 2014 repeating if the voting % goes up or stays the same.
