I watched NTR Kathanayukudu today. I was one among many that felt it is too risky to show legend’s life boxed into a 2.30 hour movie and felt that this is a mistake when the movie was announced.

The movie is very well presented. Kudos to Krish for showing NTR’s story in such a magnificent way in a very short time (73 days). Divi seems episode was pretty much recreated. The way NTR and ANR’s relation was shown, and how NTR positively influenced other people around him requires a special appreciation.

Music, photography and art was top notch. Dialogues by Saimadhav was too heart touching. Kalyan Ram, Raja and Prakash Raj were excelled. Sumanth did extraordinary and he is very fortunate to get a such an important role. Vidya Balan as basava tarakam garu did beyond and above.

Balayya gave a true tribute to his legendary father and reminded me of his father through out the movie. It is not easy to portray a legend’s character and Balayya did good justice. As NTR gets older into the movie, Balayya walked into NTR’s shoes. His make up should have been better in the younger role.

The makers were very successful in showing how dedicated NTR was towards the work and how his thinking evolved towards servicing people. Also showed what instilled NTR to think about Patel Patwari, 2 rupees rice and a need to bring up Telugu identify and etc.

The screen play was awesome. Kudos to NBK and Sai Korapati for producing the movie. This movie is a must watch to know about NTR.
