Ball would prefer that the Lakers get a third team involved should a deal go down, with his preferred landing spot being in Chicago or New York. However, the Bulls are already set at point guard with Kris Dunn under contract through 2020, and to this point, the Knicks haven't expressed any interest in adding a player like Ball.
