On business side, Klay is FA next summer, he mostly wants max contract..Draymond took less salary to accommodate KD's signing, he no longer do that in next FA. Most of all, Team is getting older, they will struggle from next year... So, KD will look for younger team, Max contract and wants to be No.1 on his team.
