It varies from person to person kada...I don't feel that way...

I need google more than electric car in my day-2-day life
I need Iphone/Ipad more than electric car
I need whatsapp, families want fb more than electric car

Companies need AWS, Amazon changed the way people do shopping(others are competing now for online shopping now)
