that is my problem too. It depends on the area you live. Some grids are relatively clean but majority in the world are dirty (coal base loaded). It makes absolute no sense in those jurisdictions. Also who is calculating the GHG/CO2 emissions for mining the raw material for batteries? I mean if you are against oil&gas because of so called dirty fuels should you not care about dirty mining?
