As of now BJP is leading in Secundrabad, Mehboonagar and Karimnagar with huge margins in the first two, but with lower margin in Karim Nagar where Vidya Sagar Rao is the BJP candidate
The alliance with TDP is causing all the worries for BJP as many voters in Telangana are not putting the same weight behind TDP unlike BJP
In Medak, BJP is giving a big fight to KCR as it was leading in the morning but is now in a tight race. Post-noon reports are suggesting that KCR has taken a lead over BJP...
In Hyderabad there is massive polarization of Hindu votes towards BJP almost in the range of 70-75%, but Owaisi is expected to pull through easily due to the sheer number of Muslim voters...
In the morning, BJP had got 32 votes out of the 70 polled in Khiaratabad, whereas Congress and TRS had got about 20 and 16 respectively. What was surprising was that YSRCP was leading in this assembly segment in the assembly election. Just to give you an idea of the extent of cross voting, about 80% of those who voted for YSRCP had voted for BJP in the MP election. This tells us a story of how Telangana voters are tactically voting for BJP in the national elections but are voting for various other parties including Congress and TRS in the assembly poll going on concurrently. A similar trend of cross-voting was seen even in Medak which may worry K. Chandrashekhar Rao of TRS.

Does this mean BJP will sweep Telangana? Unlikely, as what we are polling are only swing seats, as at least 10 seats are pre-decided for TRS and Congress. The full numbers and the exact social profiling along with weightage will tell us to the extent that upsets can be caused in strongholds, but now we can safely say that BJP will surprise in Telangana...
