Ramoji Rao surrendered part of the land to the municipal authorities for road widening saying the land belonged to him and got compensatory land somewhere from the Municipal corporation. However this was not informed to the land owner Mr Varma who filed a cheating case against Ramoji Rao. Both of them were fighting legal cases in the local Visakhapatnam court and the high court.
