He has very good background ( London trinity college ) as he is very much talented started composing at very young age. Why this kolaveri - the way he composed tells huge about him. He intelligently composed mixing right styles and fusion of western and native which was perfect blend. The blend of instruments he used are really fantastic. Like he used saxophone, tavil, nadaswaram, sehnai and got right output from these instruments and never missed tamil native feeling. The other albums that are composed by him and few sung by him are pretty decent for his age and maturity.
