This is based on the story of 5 kids from New York who were wrongly arrested for raping a 28 yr old woman. This movie depicts the racism that existed and many other facets of the American society and law that we choose to ignore. How police officers can influence/coerce kids to testify falsely and then indict them on those charges. How helpless kids or for that matter anyone can be when you face the law even if you are innocent. How journalists are also like a herd and how the public just go with emotions. Watch it. It happened in 1989. Be Positive!
