For all people here let me tell you this is not a Flood scene but this is a picninc spot in Indore popularly know as Indore Patalpani. The water from the DAM is opened in some pre determined mentioned time but on the day there was some Heavy rains nearby area and this incident took place. All the peoples are from the same family and two miraculously survived. According to local reports, two of those swept over the cataracts were rescued alive. The corpse of a woman who died in the tragedy was recovered, and two of the five are still missing.

Nanuram (25) of Badnawar and Anishq (18) of Harda were somehow saved by the people. But the body of Chavi (22), daughter of Purshottam Dhoot and a resident of Aggrawal Nagar was fished out by fire tenders of Mhow and Indore. The body of Chandrashekhar Rathi (55) and Mudita Rathi (22), both residents of Harda were still missing. Both Mudita and Chavi were pursuing MBA at a college in Indore. Bherulal Chowdhary, an eyewitness to the incident, said more than 50 persons were sitting near the waterfall when the water suddenly gushed into the stream, forcing them to scamper towards safety. Heavy rains were reported in the catchment area of the upstream, thus flash flooding occurred before authorities had time to inform the tourists. The villagers warned the people sitting in the risky areas and asked them to move away from water.https://storyful.s3.amazonaws.com/production/ci_images/860671/patal_pani_waterfa ll-original-original-original.jpeg
