" Naayak " is a beaten to death, routine , run of the mill ,template, copy cat , commercial , mass (not voora mass) and violent action movie with comedy flavour. It has few elements that may fetch boxoffice moolaah in festive season but otherwise safely avoidable substance for movie lovers and aam aadmi. For fans it is as good as Racha. For both and Racha & Naayak comedy quotient worked in favour but Racha comedy was slightly trendy and Naayam comedy also used template comedy bits like muduru bendakaya brahmi going for pelli chupulu, JP as villains side kick..having said that, though nothing is new out there, JP's situational comedy worked and infact saved the movie to some extent. There were 10 to 12 fights with loads of violence and bloodbath. These type of movies even N heroes stopped doing lately because of too much used track.. Story is ....Simhadri lo kerala backdrop,episode teesi Kolkata petti , daaniki first half lo dual role add chesaaru. aa episodes tappinchi migilina cinema antha flop ayina jrNTR faction cinemaa llaaga untundhi... Kajal and AmalaPaul has no role to play literally...onscreen footage is NILL...chero 2 days callsheets saripoyaayemo except for songs Songs : "Subhalekha Raasukunna" song was picturised well and some top class movements we can see from charan. Photography and locations too top class. "Oka chupuke padipoyaa" locations and picturisation also good yavvaramante elure song started promisingly but disappointed from second minute onwards "Hey naayak" SODHI song Lailaa vo Laila song is just ok... Major complaint is ...in all songs RAMCHARAN facial expression is so awkward except Subhalekha song....Jaw bigabatti , moothi muppai meters saagadeesi , shit vasthaante aapukuntunna expression tho song anthaa kummesthaadu ..he needs to work out on that Positives : 1)tala toka leni dragged scenes levu, template n copy scenes quick screenplay 2)JP's situational comedy 3) RamCharan presence 4) Production values are good 5) Two songs -ves : rest all My Rating 2.75/5 NRI audience can safely avoid and wait for DVD |
