అశోక చక్రవర్తి movie పాపం ఆ కుర్ర producer హరికృష్ణ (son of distributor/producer కోగంటి కేశవ రావ్ who died suddenly and బాలయ్య did this movie for his son to help him come out of financial crisis) మళయాళం movie (ఆర్యన్ starring మోహన్ లాల్) rights కొనుక్కుని మొదలుపెట్టాడు. మధ్యలో నూతన్ ప్రసాద్ కి accident అవ్వటం వల్ల అతని తో చేసిన scenes అన్నీ మళ్ళీ p.l. నారాయణ తో reshoot చెయ్యాల్సి వచ్చింది (you can see నూతంప్రసాద్ in the wedding song). ఈ లోపు చెవిలో పువ్వు తీసిన అశోక్ కుమార్ తన second movie వెంక్య్ తో అనుకుని పరుచూరి వాళ్ళని story అడిగితే అశోకచక్రవర్తి movie నే కొంచెం మార్చి (అక్కడ strict father ఝ్వ్శ్, ఇక్కడ strict mother SArada) ఇచ్చారు. రెండూ ఒకే రోజు release అయ్యాయి. ధృవనక్షత్రం లో mass elements ekkuva. కానీ movie param గా ఐతే మాత్రం అశోక చక్రవర్తి బాగుంటుంది.. songs కూడా అశోక చక్రవర్తి లో బాగుంటాయి (maestro music). s.s రవిచంద్ర direction కూడా బాగుంటుంది (same మళయాళం screen play, but konni scenes taking తెలుగు లో nativity కి తగ్గట్టు మార్చారు)...
