That what he is. pushpavilapam, bhagavadgeeta, devotional songs, padyalu ivvanni in pure telugu no one can ever come close to the purity of these. No matter what. No one can match his expressions, clarity of voice, perfect rendering. However SPB has a GOD gifted voice which is ever youuthful even at this age. Which is not the case in Ghantasala mastaru, His voice faded away as is Mohd Rafi's. However Kishore voice was more powerful in his later part of career than his starting. It was as youthful as he was. Yesudas is combination of GOD gifted voice and hardwork. He in his own way was superior in many areas. I never draw comparision between SPB and KJY for very obvious reason that I was lucky to hear both voices, if I am biased towards one, I cannot enjoy the way I enjoy listening to them. I hear them with perfect adoration towards their divine voices. I never dare to think who is great that disturbs my listening pleasure even slightly. I enjoyed Kishore the best, but Ilayaraja and SPB took front seat for almost a decade when I learnt Tamil and understand Tamil Literature Listening to all these greats, having their impressions in mind, after say after 1995 or so, my music appetite has gone down, any movies released after are just 1-2 time listening only. Inka Female singers teesukunte, I feel Lata and Asha are over rated singers just because they are Hindi/Marathi. Susheela garu is no less than and is Janaki garu. They are the best happened to South Film industry. Susheela gaarikunna pronounciation clarity, Janaki gaari ki unna expression, evariki ledu.
