Basically Guru Pournami ante peddagaa telvadu janalaki unti Sai Baba has been familiar in Andhra. The hidden purpose of this day is to revisit/retreat how far one has reached in their spiritual journey, assess the growth, what has to be done in future years with help of Guru to reach the ultimate goal of life



:-)Small correction Rao garu. The purpose of this day is to honour various gurus in one's life starting with one's mother and progressing to spiritual guru.

This is the Day Lord Shiva as Dakshinamoorthy ( the only god facing south in the hindu pantheon) imparted the divine knowledge to the seven sages.

Sai Baba Guruvu roopam lo vaccharu kabatti via his form spiritual masters ki gratitude cheppatam annamata.

:-) Why gratitude ani kondaru adagocchu...because it is the first step on becoming human....only after one is at a minimum human level can the one progress on the spiritual journey.
