Govt Regulations, Global Bank Regulations due to competition from Fiat currency, "ease of use of Crypto currency / mass adoption" would only be the hurdles for Crypto growth. LiteCoin ( Efficient Bitcoin ) & ChainLink ( Smart contracts Code executor, EcoSystem of Data Extractor for dapps ) are couple of other options to consider..... With heavy adoption of Crypto currency going forward ( as crypto scales upwards exponentially ), transaction performance would play critical role and supporting transaction performance with heavy investment in Hardware wouldn't scale well i suppose. So Bitcoin may face some hurdles when compared to Litecoin. I dont wear spects, only wear contact lens(&goggles sometimes). Only code lang that i know are > c,c++,java,c# & scrpt lang.
