My point is he was given Lebron and Kyrie which a great foundation and 2 #1 picks...which he traded for Love. He was also given lots of good first round picks which he kept trading for older players. I think a better GM would have drafted well or did better in trades and kept the window open for longer. The only reason I say average is, he did not mess-up a contender which is not easy. Nenu cheppe Legend is Jerry West...he constructed many Lakers championship team and then mentored Kupchak to do the same. Then he built the Pau and Marc Gasol teams for Grizzles and then a big role in Warriors dynasty...now onto Clippers. He also lead Lakers 9 NBA finals as a player. Riley gaadu donga edava but over-rated as aGM...he was a good coach during Lakers years. He got Shaq in a trade because of his Lakers connection...tarvaatha Wade+Lebron+Bosh team lo kooda...I think it was their decision to team up than him. |
