Sorry late gaa choosa thread, not sure if anything is required now.. First insurance exchange is mandatory if the other guy thinks there is damage to his car., If no major damage to either cars, calling cops is not required. Also if he thinks car is damaged he will call, you dont need to.. Option A: Then if cops are called, then everything will be recorded and will be on record. Option B: Cops not called and that guy doesnt think there is damage to his car, he can leave the site without calling cops. Option C: How to handle your damage, if cops are called, then you have no choice to deal with insurance. If insurance details are exchanged, then also you have no option.. However if the other guy does neither, then its upto you to call insurance or not to fix it.. When no record is there, you can deal it yourself.
