Even now so many precautions can be taken to make the effort success. The following are my opinions, you may chose to disagree. Short term fixes: > Fix the cash crunch for daily usage of the public. If cash is not the problem, exchange of old notes ( of course with limitations ) can be extended to few other govt orgs. > If cash is the problem ( there isn't enough cash printed ), Sell some passes, tokens, cards to be used in various retail stores till the cash crunch issue is fixed ( For day to day usage ). Of course it requires some quick education and propaganda. > Give reasonable incentives for electronic transactions ( more than the existing incentives ). It will motivate majority of educated folks to move towards complete electronic usage. Long Term Fixes: > Establish training and education institutes to encourage the electronic transactions of small and medium scale vendors. > Some reasonable incentives for small and medium scale vendors who move towards electronic transactions ( Remember, they have inertia because of taxes and 2% charges on white transactions ). > Reduce the foot print of 2000 rs note usage ( Print them in very low quantity ). > Encourage the small/mid scale banks ( especially that operate in villages and towns ) to invite folks to open bank accounts with very low min bal requirement I dont wear spects, only wear contact lens(&goggles sometimes). Only code lang that i know are > c,c++,java,c# & scrpt lang.
