The Hadoop path is basics, and online courses do give you that. BUT .. aa individual components unai chusaru ..yes avi chala dynamic ga change avtunai.. but there are pieces that are stable.And those are specifically taught in courses.. and lots of jobs now require you to be handson. Its a kind of irony in India, that the ecosys here has not come in to teach you Hadoop/Bigdata formally, but outsourcing meant that the jbs are here - and hence people are trying hard to pick up stuff. NRIs shoudl throw more light.. but nenu chuste ee bigdata ecosys is much more mature there. Actually colleges started to offer courses,degrees also ..
