Some Belgian broadcasters said the two explosions at the airport were a suicide attack. All flights have been cancelled and the airport and the main highway leading to it were shut down. The terror attacks come just four days after the arrest of Salah Abdeslam, the prime surviving suspect of November's attacks in Paris in which 130 people were killed. Abdeslam, 26, a French national, was arrested after being shot in the leg and captured in a police raid in Brussels. Belgium's terror alert level has been raised to maximum. Security has also been tightened at all Paris airports. The explosions at the airport hit at the middle of the busiest time there. Smoke was seen billowing out of the terminal.
