ellemma worst nayallu. 2 times phone chesthe 2 complete opposite answers. Question: My wife's Canadian passport and Indian visa are expiring at the end of Feb 2016. We are traveling in December, so applied for renewal of Canadian passport. Do we need to transfer the visa from old to new passport? Answer 1: Yes, you need to and please look into the check list on our website (BLS international). but the check list says you need to have 1 year residual validity in order to transfer the visa. btw, indian embassy website says 3 months residual validity.. called again.. Answer 2: No you don't need to, travel with both old and new passports. you are okay. What the frock? what should I do??  Ignorance is bliss |
