there is more oil floating around than actual demand in the short term. This glut is not going to go away until either some production is cut off. that's not happening, most of the producers are in cost cutting mode right now than reducing the production. barring a huge geopolitical incident (read russia, saudi) I don't see how the supply side will get impacted! If there is no big incident, then oil will stay between $40-$60 at least in the next 2 to 3 years. at these levels not all producers can stay positive and weaker players will go bankrupt or taken out by better companies.
