whenever I go against my gut feel and listen to others (even though they experts), most of the time I end up losing or giving up the profits. I really wanted to sell OIH and EEM puts last week and buy them back little later. But didn't do that because one of my friends talked me out of that move. That's an opportunity to book 12k profit. Between that and exiting too soon on Vxx along with bonus puts, the overall profit miss is close to 70k in just less than 10 days. Probably I wouldn't have realized all these (hind sight is always 20-20) but at least 25k to 30k would have been very realistic opportunity. Ignorance is bliss |
