23% gain is not bad Gochi. good job. yes, they take 3 days to settle the trade for stock and one day for an option. Normally what I do is keep enough cash in the account to trade other opportunities. on top of that my account has margin facility which means you can use up to 70% of the portfolio value (as a collateral) if you really want to buy something urgently. you will pay interest for those 3 days in margin account. I have that facility but never used it because they charge higher interest rates. If I need something urgent, I use line of credit which has much lower interest rate and the accounts are linked so that I can transfer instantaneously. Ignorance is bliss |
