he had a good number of hits with ANR (vichitra bandham, secretary, palleTUribAva, dEvadAsu maLLI puTTADu, mahAkavi kshEtrayya, rAmakRshNulu, bhakta tukArAm, Alumagalu etc.) annAgAru specifically wanted him to sing all the poems in DVSK and also chose him to sing a few songs in brahmamgAri charitra.. he sang the hit song from the movie mA iddari katha for annagAru (chali chali gA undirA hoy rAmA)... next to ANR, he sang most number of hits with SObhanbAbu (SArada, kannavAri kalalu, andarU dongalE, balipeeTham, dEvuDu chEsina peLLi, chakravAkam etc.) with kRshNamrAju kRshNavENi, amaradeepam, iddarU iddarE and bhakta kannappa with Superstar kRshNa he couldn't deliver any hit in the few songs he sung. but to make up for it, he sang the evergreen national award winning song telugu veera lEvarA from allUri seetArAma rAju with bAlayya AnATi hRdayAla Ananda geetam and andamaina pilla okaTi rammannadi from annadammula anubandham... he had the credit of singing for legendary SVR in the movie tAtA-manavaDu (anubandham AtmIyata antA oka bUTakam)... he had the credit of singing one super hit song each for the darSaka diggajAlu DNR and KRR in their debut movies (anubandham AtmIyata from tAtA-manavaDu and oka janTa kalisina taruNana from bAbu) he also sang the evergreen solo song EdO EdO annadi ee masaka masaka veluturu for hero SrIdhar's debut movie (as a hero) mutyAla muggu. whatever may be the reason, telugu film industry didn't utilize his talent and give him enough opportunities...
