Don:HDCP 2.2 compliance
wait cheyyi bro, dont spend too much time and money on 2.2 for now...inkaa true 4k content ekkuva ledhu maket lo plus devices inkaa mature avvaledhu...u will reap full benefits only when everything is 4k (including content) for example my TV is 4k TV with 2.2 compliant...alaane I have a 4k upscaling bluray player..and my receiver is just 4k passthrough... when you play any non 4k content, TV tries to upscale regular content to 4k...at the same time if you play any bluray, bluray player tries to upscale everything to 4k...ippudu Bluray nundi TV lo play chesthe Bluray will upscale and pass through 4k resolution to TV and bcos TV is receiving 4k signal it does not upscale anymore...so basic gaa setup pettukunetappudu check whose upscaling skills are better...in my case, my TV upscales everything better than the Bluray player...so 4k bluray player or 4k reciever waste annattu...ippudu nuvvu 4k receiver konte check how good is its upscaling capability other than just 2.2 compliant...if you believe TV upscales everything better than other devices then just get a regular receiver...but if you feel receiver's upscaling is better then it makes sense to go for 4k upscaling receiver...ee upscaling lone inkaa clarity ledhu, so 2.2 compliant ante you are looking 10 yrs into future and at that point u have to anyway get rid of these things and buy latest models... |
