But, when he finds out Ekalavya is better, he asks for his finger as guru dakshina to keep his promise to Arjuna. Also, Ekalavya fought against Krishna in a couple of battles. He was on Jarasandha's side in their battles against Yadavas. Krishna eventually killed him in one of the battles. Be Positive!
