maa area lo water konchem hard gaa untundhi rao gaaru...so water softener must annattu...we have two types of softeners, Salt based and non salt...Salt based aithe cheaper initially(arpund $600 plus $300 for installation) but u need to keep refilling the salt every month...but these are very efficient in removing hardness...Non Salt based unnaai, Pelican Water Softening systems ani u can check online...ivi onetime cost itself is like 2k dollars plus 300 installation...no monthly maintenance..they do softening in natural way but not very efficient...finalgaa I decided to go with Salt based one...its a Hybrid system with both water softening anf filtering...link below...I need to get this installed now, looking for a plumber
