5 openers, 3 middle order players. u cannot compare. sachin, gilly, viru, jaya all have almost the same overall strike rate as dhoni if not better despite being openers and needing to lay foundation and good start to the team. andaru 6s, 4s avaleelaga kottinolle. it is not less easier to open the innings of 50 overs and needing 5.5 runs per over compared to needing to score 80 runs in the last 10 overs with 5-6 wkts in hand. inka richards did everything wat dhoni is doing now and even batted at number 3 and finished games based on wat i have heard and read. ABD has been in the top 3 batsmen in ODI rankings for almost 3 years now. manam SA cricket follow avvam peddaga so notice cheyyam. vadu kooda dhoni category cricketer. not saying dhoni is less, but i dont think he is head and shoulders above some of the players listed. especially sachin, gilly and richards. |
