tamil, kannada, telugu all evolved from proto-dravidian language...telugu branched off from tamil-kannada branch very early...kannada branched off after that...that is why there is more affinity between kannada and tamil, than tamil and telugu...ill informed chauvinistic tamils do lot of over-action.... telugu land being close to north india, sanskrit influenced telugu much more than it influenced tamil...nannayya laanti vaallu raasetappudu native telugu padaalani upayonginchakunda sanskrit nundi loanwords tecchukunnaaru naaku telisi...anduke literary telugu lo 50-60% words in the vocabulary have sanskrit basis...but structure of the telugu language is still dravidian ani antaaru linguists which honestly speaking is beyond my comprehension...teerigga chadivi artham chesukovali... |
