OFC ki cellphones are allowed but u need to switch them off...no need to take all documents and confuse them...just take the Appt Letter, DS160 conf and Passport,thats it... Consulate lo bhayankaramaina security screening...cellphones are not allowed,also some fancy belts,wallets,any credit cards with chips unte bayatiki pamputhunnaaru,they dont even have a place to store these,so theeskelthe bokka paduddi...Chennai lo aithe be 30 mins before for both the appointments...not more,not less...30 mins mundu maatrame allow chesthunnaaru... Passport ki pickup option pettuko,u can collect the passport in 2 business days in the OFC after your consulate appointment...Appointment book chesetappude u will be asked the option whether to pick up or courier...to collect your passport, again u need the Appt letter, DS160 confirmation and an Indian Govt Issued Photo ID along with a photo copy of the ID...idevadu cheppadu,kaani ellaaka ID photocopy ekkada ani adiguthaadu...if you dont have any other ID like Indian DL/PAN Card then u can provide a photocopy of first and last page of passport itself...
