Swarry for the delay OM baa...aaa post esina ventane train ekki guntur occhaa....full bz unde...

Anyway the process is a little screwed up in one way but easier in other way...

The first step is to fill up the DS160 form in the website below...No need of photo...photo will be taken during your first appointment..

https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/

Once DS160 is filled up and submitted u will get a confirmation code..this is needed for booking your appointment..

Second step,go to the below website...

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/

This is the replacement for VFS..create a new account and fill up the basic details including DS160 confirmation code...then u will be taken to a fee payment page...here you can either pay the fees through a few citibank branches or most of the axis banks..as of now online pyment option ledhu, ante edo specific fund transfer undi gaani its only for people in India, not useful for us...when you click the fees button,u will be given another reference number with a few directions to the bank teller...u need to take this printout and then go to the bank to pay the fees of 190 dollars...exact fee amount will also be mentioned in this print page...ee printout lenidhe bank vaadu fees kattinchukodu...in my case,i printed the page, scanned the copy of this along with front and last page of passport and sent it to my friend in guntur...and he paid the fees for me...once the fees is paid, the bank teller will activate your reference number...so in 24hrs ur ustraveldocs account will be updated with your fee payment details automatically(via the reference number in printout)...once fee payment is confirmed then you can proceed and block the appointment...

Now the first appointment u will be booking is for OFC Offshore facilitating centre...this appointment date should atleast be 24 hrs before the consulate appointment if both appointments are in same city...if OFC is in a different city, then atleast 3 days difference is needed...also after the OFC appointment,ur consulate appt should not be more than 30 days after OFC...so basic gaa 1-30 days range lo second appointment undaali...first screen lo OFC appt book chesaaka second screen lo consulate appointment book cheskovacchu...the process seems to be big but i did the whole process in one night...filling up ds160,friend paying fees in india and i booking the slot...

Once appt is booked,u will get one appointment letter with both appointments in it...u need this letter plus DS160 submission confirmation page printout and original passport for the first appointment at OFC....OFC lo nee finger printing and photo theeskuntaaru...nothing else...second day consulatelo as usual same process like before..u need appointment letter,DS160 conf page,Original Passport, Original and Copy of I-797,Copy of I-129 petition and LCA...these are the only mandatory ones...inka other supporting docs like 2 months paystubbs, one year w2,degree certificates, service letters, old 1797's and if any other docs u think will be useful theesukelocchu...
