in the last 14 + years I never faced public discrimination or racial abuse in Canada or in the US. 94/96 time frame lo Germany lo brown skin vaallani choosthe Srilanka refugees anukunevallu. still no abuse but you could feel the difference. ika UK gurinchi entha thakkuva cheppukunte antha manchidi. 2007 lo Perth vellanu, I experienced discrimination right at the airport, they singled out all brown skin people in various lines and asked more questions, took photo copy of passport, business card etc. despite me carrying Canadian passport. mugguram velithe migatha iddarini 2 Qs kooda adagaledu endukante aalliddaru british. once I am in the country didn't feel any difference. I would never live in such countries anyway. for me based on my experience, Canada is most tolerant and almost perfect to live and enjoy. of course it depends a lot on where you live and work. good job in a decent company, you don't have to make too much money still can be happy.
