Dearest All,
I, P.V.V.S Hari Prasad, 30 years old, am suffering with recurrent “Hodgkin's Lymphoma”, a type of cancer since Jan 2003. Unfortunately in 2009 Cancer relapsed and I was hospitalized. Ever since then I had under gone several Chemotherapy cycles and combination by Radiation at Indo-American Cancer & Research Institute in Hyderabad.
At present for this ailment, the doctors have now asked me to go through an Autologous Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) followed by the combination of MINE CHEMOTHERAPHY + HIGH DOSE CHEMOTHERAPY is only the life saving curative option, the cost of which is estimated approximately Rs.8 lakhs to Rs.10 lakhs, which is prohibitive for me and as my body cannot survive another relapse of Cancer. Currently I am undergoing MINE CHEMOTHERAPHY treatment at Indo-American Cancer & Research Institute, Hyderabad, India under the care of Dr. P.S.Dattatreya and subsequently at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India.
With so many prolonged and painful treatments, I had gone through severe physical and emotional stress and not to mention my financial stress. Unfortunately the family’s financial resources cannot bear the brunt of this prolonged treatment.
We are seeking for some financial assistance. Contributions from people like you will help me in raising money for my treatment. I would need all of your best wishes and prayers and also your financial assistance to help me recover from this current illness and help me to win this battle against Cancer.
My friends Sitaram Chowdary and Syam from Chicago conducted one charity event in last month. They got good turn-out for the event. So far, around $3670 fund has been raised.
