whatever is the plan do consider below pointers and make sure u have below riders. Do not go for plain vanilla life cover.

If riders are not available, I would recommend to avoid this product. I always recommend buying ADBR and CIBR along with term life insurance.
ADBR= Accidental death disability rider
CIBR= Critical illness benefit rider
The reason we do life insurance is basically to help out the family when the life insured is not able to bring income any more for the family to meet the financial goals. It need not happen only by the death of the primary earner.
If the life insured becomes disabled, life insurance won't pay a penny. Now this unfortuanate disabled person can't bring any income and also become a additional burden for expenses. How a family would handle such unfortunate situation, if they have taken only life cover ?
Extending the same logic, if the person is diagnosed with some life threatening illness like cancer, brain tumor or major heart problem, the situation is same. No money from life insurance but the impact is even worse on family situation.
An efficient insurance advisor will look into these aspects analyse the family situation and recommend a right term insurance with riders. This is not a fiction book that you can buy by ordering online like you do in Amazon. By buying a wrong product, you might cause more harms to your financial wealth.
