మంగళవారం, అక్టోబర్ 5, 2010, 12:59[IST]
గుంటూరు: సోమవారం గుంటూరు జిల్లా చీరాలలోని ఓ థియేటర్ వద్ద డబ్బులు పోగొట్టుకున్న ఖలేజా చిత్రం డిస్ట్రిబ్యూటర్ వెంకటేశ్వరరావు ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకొన్నాడు. డబ్బులు పోగొట్టుకున్న తరువాత సాయంత్రం తన డిస్ట్రిబ్యూషన్ కార్యాలయానికి వెళ్లాడు. కార్యాలయంలో అందరూ వెళ్లిన తరునాత కూడా తను అక్కడే ఉన్నట్టు కార్యాలయంలో పనిచేస్తున్న ఆపీసు బాయ్ చెబుతున్నాడు. ప్రొద్దున ఆఫీసు బాయ్ వెళ్లి శవంగా పడి ఉన్న వెంకటేశ్వరరాను చూసి ఆయన బంధువులకు ఫోన్ చేశాడు. బంధువు నరేంద్ర అనే స్థానిక పోలీసు స్టేషన్ లో కంప్లయింట్ ఇచ్చాడు.
ఉదయాన బాయ్ వెళ్లే వరకే చనిపోయి ఉండటంతో కార్యాలయంలో అందరూ వెళ్లిన తరువాత ఈ ఘాతుకానికి పాల్పడ్డట్టు తెలుస్తోంది. మహేశ్ బాబు ఖలేజాతోపాటు పవర్ స్టార్ పవన్ హీరోగా వచ్చిన పులి చిత్రానికి కూడా ఈయనే ఇక్కడి డిస్ట్రిబ్యూటర్. అయితే ఆయన తన 9 లక్షల రూపాయలను పోగొట్టుకున్నందుకు చనిపోయాడా, ఇంతకుముందు ఏవైనా అప్పులు ఉండి చనిపోయాడా లేదా ఇంతకుముందు డిస్ట్రిబ్యూట్ చేసిన చిత్రాల్లో నష్టాలు రావటంతో ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్నాడా అనే విషయం ఇంకా నిర్ధారణ కాలేదు.
