Blazewada:its oracle. a procedure to return the average price calculated. out parameter should be of mentioned precision . as of now as a work around i am using float and later and later i am using substring function to get required part in java.
good float is working for you ..
well Explore .. Java Stored procedures in oracle.. instead of PL/SQL you can also write Java based stored procedure for a oracle Database .

Where are you losing the precision for the column OUT_AVERAGE_PRICE? Oracle aa lekaa edanna OleDBProvider lo naa? OleDB aithe maybe you are using the wrong type to map the value.
