Just recently, we mentioned about the most happening event in Vijayawada and this is to mark the 602nd Jayanthyutsavam of Annamacharya. This is being organized by Silicon Andhra and the man to make this happen is none other than Kuchibhotla Anand. The event has been taking place from 23rd onwards and went on till 26th.
The grand finale is taking place today and it is heard that the event has got an astounding response. The highlight is that several individuals from other states like Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Orissa who are music aspirants have come here, learned the Annamayya Keertanas and are now singing putting everyone in awe and surprise. The surprise element is Music maestros Ziauddin, Sheik Chinna Sahib are also part of this event who participated as gurus.
The event has turned out to be a grand success and it has also created a new record. All this is becoming possible due to the extensive efforts by Kuchibotla Anand who has organized the entire event. The buzz is that he is now being called as the Vivekananda for music and dance.
Apparently, Swamy Vivekananda was known as the brand ambassador for Indian culture and heritage by the foreigners across the world and right now, Kuchibotla is also doing something very similar in our state and neighboring states as well. He in inspiring non-Telugu speakers also learn Telugu and sing Annamayya songs, thus making Annamayya a celebrity among every music lover transcending the boundaries of religion as well. There is also another info that he is planning for another mega event in the month of December. This has to do with the Kuchipudi dance and even that one would be a record breaking feat in Hyderabad.
Currently, Vijayawada is going through a huge Cultural Revolution and transition due to Kuchbotla’s special event. The best part is that, he has not only been inspiring youngsters and elders alike towards this field but he has also been attracting people from other states as well which a rare occurrence is. Kuchibotla is surely a man to reckon with for inspiration now and let us wish him all the best and success for his future endeavors.
