Remember those good old golden days of watching Ramayan and Mahabarth in Doordharshan on Sundays and how we used to wrap-up all our daily chores to not to miss watching those epics..
Remember how eager, how enthusiastic and how exciting it used to be...Reading/learning a bit about upcoming episode, discussing it with parents/grand parents and the thrill in waiting for next episode..marvelous, isn't it?
Well, in this internet era, we pretty much lost all of that thrill due to readily available information....But here comes an opportunity to enjoy some of those feelings after so many years...it landed in the form of telugu movie called Sree Rama Rajyam,,,directed by Sri Baapu , scripted by Sri Ramana , music by Maestro Illaya Raja (first time for devotional telugu flick) and living legend Akkineni Nageswara Rao, BalaKrishna, Nayana Tara, Sreekanth etc as Actors...and produced by Sai Baba Yelamanchili...
Let us watch this movie on silver screen with our family/friends to enjoy the visual grandeur and I feel it is the only way to pay some tribute to our rich tradition and culture....let us have this in daily calendar, check out this movie schedules in your area, make a plan accordingly and I'm sure you will be entertained...and your encouragement will enable more producers and actors to start thinking about making few more mythological films like new Daana Veera Soora Karna etc ..
BTW If you have kids, take them to this movie,,,I'm sure they will be thrilled to see Rama, Lakshmana, Lava-Kusa on the screen and of course all those Animals like Elephants, Horses etc...and in the end they will have some opinion about Lord Rama and Ramayana...Tell them this story of Rama, Ravana, Seetha and their twin sons etc to generate that interest factor in their mind (I'm sure you wld have done it long back if not here is the right time for real time story narration) and from there they will be after you about this movie plan....;)
Signing-off by saluting to all of the crew that worked hard for this movie and may god bless Sai Baba garu for producing this movie with huge budget...Hoping this movie will become huge hit, bring money and joy to all of those committed and dedicated workers.
