Ram Gopal Varma today (Wednesday, November 09, 2011) said he has been receiving threatening calls and messages on his mobile phone from unidentified persons regarding his forthcoming production, Bejawada.

He said some people are trying to inflict caste bias on him on the basis of lyrics from a song in the movie. They are twisting the lyrics and misleading people, he said. " Bejawada is purely fictional story. It is nothing to do with any real persons living or dead, " he added.

Bejawada stars Naga Chaitanya and Amala Paul is directed by debutant Vivek Krishna.
