Yup I agree 100% ...in one sad way the top 10% rich countries in the world are consuming 80% of the resources due to all the gadgets and carbon footpring. Other half of the world is rapidly coming out of poverty and with that will increase its carbon footprint as well...

just a bit off topic.
last month maa kada, solar car race jarigindii (annual event), I did meet one professor from USA who is working in Solar field from 1985.
according to him,
1000 watts / m^2 is a common figure used for bright sunlight at an optimal place on the surface of the earth, so if we used that, current panels are capable to generate max of 25% efficiency per sq.m.
currently lot of research going on to improve the efficency, at the end of the day it comes up with some high $ factor also. currently solar market is live due to govt incentive's, if govt stop doing that people can't afford solar panels and ROI is very bad (thats how the real world works).
but it's people responsibility to think about mother earth and try to consume less

meeku science ante baga interest anukunta. Future will be of Superconducting materials and also Super capacitors( Electric cars ki main problem battery size which limits cars like Nissan leaf from travelling more than 100 miles ....) Also Superconductors vaste...Transmission losses inka vundavu and scientists would have solved the energy problem.
