tammi ther is no vs. u can go for both. but mainframes aithey options limited ga untayi antaru but insurance/banking domain lo mainframes will be there forever. TCS lo onsites baaga ostayi for mainframes. nee option onsite aithey may consider mainframes,s till depends on project.

java/.NET equally good.
