Fubar:no option, u r talking about two different things here, mailx is just send/recieve mails, it doesn't matter if u give some junk it just sends the mail...then thru the configured mailer it sends to the mail server and mail server just sends to the emailID, if it cna't find then it says undelivered and routes back to ur $FROM
vaake..mailx command gurunchi antha chosa..ardamaindi.
so emi chesa ante ila icha command
mailx -r $FROM -c $CC_MAIL -s $SUBJECT $TO_EMAIL
ippudu $TO_EMAIL lo junk mail id unte CC_mail ki velthundi email and $from email ki bounce ayinattu email vachindi. ide kavalsindi naku.  |

I don't think mailx returns any code, which it self will give the data you are looking for ..

if the to has invalid emailid, then nothing is happening. If mailx has any return code, I can check that and issue another mailx just for the people in cc list. But mailx doesn't have any return. I gave option -e, then it is returning some junk statement. so wanted to know the full functionality of mailx. man list lo ee feature emi kanapadatam ledu |

mailx - s "$SUB" -r $FROM -c $FROM $TO_EMAIL
This is working good. But if the $TO_EMAIL is invalid email id, then it still needs to send the file to the list in cc i.e $FROM
what option I should I add. |
