Haunted: Vikram Bhatt's new horror flick
Mumbai: After 'Avatar', films in 3D have became the next big thing and joining the ranks is filmmaker Vikram Bhatt's new movie 'Haunted', which will be released in April.
The filmmaker, who is known to have churned out spook fests like 'Raaz' and more recently 'Shaapit', is now back with another scary movie called 'Haunted' and this one comes in 3D. Adding a new dimension to the spirits and ghosts in this movie is a group of 3D experts who have worked on Hollywood films like the 'Resident Evil-The Afterlife' and 'Saw 7'. What's more Bhatt's prefers spirits over the living!
"I feel safer with spirits because you know that they will scare you but with people you just have no clue," says Bhatt.
Bhatt made the statement at the unveiling of 'Haunted's first look on Monday evening in Mumbai. The film will also be re-launching Mithun Chakroborty's son Mimoh as Mahakshay Chakroborty who made a rather horrifying debut with 'Jimmy' in 2008. 'Haunted' will also mark the debut of Tia....
Bajpai.
"Yes I do believe in the supernatural and while I was shooting for this film also I was quite scared," says Mahakshay.
"It was quiet scary to shoot for a horror film but I haven't had any encounters as such with the supernatural," says Tia.
Written by Bhatt himself, 'Haunted' revolves around a house with a secret past and a haunted present and is slated to hit the screens on April 15.
