'Go to Andhra for Sankranti and return happily'
The Telangana leaders, who earlier threatened that the people of Andhra who go to their native places for Sankranti festival would not be allowed to come back, have now softened their stand.
“Things are moving in a right direction for Telangana. Even the people of Andhra and Rayalaseema are understanding the sentiments of Telangana people. So, there is nothing to worry. The people of Andhra can go to their native places happily for Sankranti and come back with happy memories,” Congress MLA from Telangana R Damodar Reddy said,
However, according to reports, most of the Andhra people who were planning to go their native places have dropped their plans this year and stayed back in Hyderabad. They were really apprehensive that they might not come back again. Now, there is little time for them to take up the journey.
